CHINATOWN
The streets of Chinatown were crowded, and after two years of growing in my hair out, I finally looked for a hair salon to ave it cut short.
EAST VILLAGE
With our mutual friend, we enjoyed crêpes and window-shopped, impulsively buying expensive pieces of bracelet—an absurd decision that had us laughing for ages afterward.
FLUSHING
Wandering along streets filled with Chinese delicacies, we ended up with an underground food court for duck-blood vermicelli soup.
JOURNAL SQUARE
Back home, I prepared the ingredients while she played head chef, and we filled the pot with all our favorite ingredients.
KOREATOWN
On New Year’s Eve, heavy rain and early closures of all stores drove us back home by 9 PM. Later, we climbed up to the rooftop for the New Year countdown.
BRYANT PARK
One the way to the Christmas fair at Bryant Park, I bought a hat that said "New York". I felt a bit funny walking through the streets of New York while wearing a hat that said NY.
